300 Hour Teacher Training

Our transformative 300 Hr Teacher Training Program dives deeper into the art and science of yoga. Designed for certified 200 Hr instructors seeking to expand their knowledge and skill set by an in-depth exploration of advanced asana, meditation, pranayama, anatomy, philosophy, Ayurveda, and teaching methodologies. This training will empower you to elevate your practice, refine your teaching techniques, and deepen your understanding of yoga's profound wisdom. Join us on this enriching journey as we cultivate a community of skilled and mindful yoga leaders. Embrace the opportunity to expand your expertise and inspire others on their yoga path. 

Students must have completed a 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification to enroll in the program.

Yoga and Ayurveda

Yoga is first and foremost a science of self-discovery, and Ayurveda is the science of life. Throughout our 300hr training, each module will build upon the other in developing a spiritually based understanding of yoga, health, and personal revelation. In understanding the fundamentals of Ayurveda and each dosha, you will discover how to create an experience for your yoga students that benefits them physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Immersion Weekends

  • Immersion weekend detailing the Yin Yoga practice, philosophy and history

  • Immersion weekend detailing the Kundalini practice, philosophy and history

  • Immersion weekend living an Ayurvedic Lifestyle

  • Immersion developing detailing somatic bodywork and the pelvic floor connection

Advanced Training

  • Advanced pranayama techniques

  • Advanced Meditation and Chanting Practices

  • Advanced Mudras and Bandhas and its integration with Meditation techniques

  • Defining the 5 Koshas, 5 Kleshas & 5 Vayus

  • Anatomy and physiology of the major systems of the physical and energetic bodies

  • Advanced Ayurveda Practices and Theory

  • Advanced Sanskrit/philosophical application

Additional Studies

Asana Training

  • Deeper understanding of the chakras including metaphysical correlations

  • Study of the flow of energy in the astral channels

  • Patanjali Yoga Sutras - 196 aphorisms 

  • A detailed study of the Pradipika

  • Breakdown of advanced asana practice (modifications/alignments/adjustments)

  • Study and sequencing of Restorative & Yoga Nidra practices 

  • Paramahansa Yogananda's interpretation of the Bhagavad Gita detailing Karma Yoga (selfless actions); Bhakti Yoga (devotion to practice); Raja Yoga (introspection and self-study); and Gyana Yoga (yoga of wisdom)

Course Investment

The investment is $3500 with a $350 non-refundable deposit that goes towards tuition. The $350 deposit is due by March 1, 2024.  There is a payment plan option of $393.75 per month for 8 months. 

Fees will be applied if paying by credit card.Tuition includes books, training manual and 4 immersion weekends at Yama Yoga.
