I am an East Texas native who began practicing yoga several years ago to improve my mental health. I have always enjoyed movement. Although yoga is much more than that, it quickly became my preferred method of physical exercise. I became a 200-hour registered yoga teacher in 2021, and later pursued additional training in Yin Yoga. I enjoy practicing and teaching both a fiery vinyasa and a gentle yin. Yoga has offered me the opportunity to slow down and notice my internal landscape and patterns. It has been a critical adjunct to traditional therapy in my mental health journey, and I love sharing the practice with others. In addition to yoga, I own a business and am a registered dental hygienist. I have two beautiful (grown) daughters and am enjoying the sweetest empty nest life with my partner Steven and our dogs.
